Fentanyl Crisis

Fentanyl is fueling a deadly crisis across our communities. This synthetic opioid is up to 100 times stronger than morphine, and just a few grains can kill. Dealers often mix it into pills and powders without warning, making every use a life-or-death risk. Overdoses are rising at alarming rates, tearing families apart and devastating neighborhoods. Awareness and prevention are critical — knowing the signs, spreading the word, and protecting our loved ones can save lives.

Did you Know?

  • Just 2 milligrams of fentanyl (about the size of a few grains of salt) can be deadly.

  • Over 150 people die every day in the U.S. from overdoses related to synthetic opioids like fentanyl.

  • Many fake prescription pills sold on the street contain fentanyl without the user knowing.

Where to Report?

  • Call 911 immediately in the event of an overdose or medical emergency.

  • Local Police Department – Report suspicious activity or drug distribution in your neighborhood.

  • Crime Stoppers – Submit anonymous tips about fentanyl sales or trafficking.

  • DEA Tip Line – Report suspected drug activity online at www.dea.gov/submit-tip.

  • Poison Control (1-800-222-1222) – Get immediate guidance if exposure or ingestion is suspected.
