HEALING SESSIONS FOR FAMILIES

At Crime Stoppers of Michigan, we strive to be a resource for our community during difficult times. We understand how devastating it can be to lose a loved one to violence, and we are committed to providing support and healing for those who are left to deal with the aftermath. Our Healing Sessions are a safe space where people can come together to share their experiences, offer each other comfort, and work through their grief.  Crime Stoppers has partnered with Pastor Ovella/Code 22 & Open Arms to help assist our families going through traumatic experiences.

Our Guest Speaker for March is Shamayim "Mama Shu" Harris is the CEO and founder of the Avalon Village, located in Highland Park, Michigan. Harris was the 2024 USA Today "Woman of the Year" and in 2023 she placed in the Top Ten for CNN's Heroes. She also founded The Moon Ministry 501(c)(3) nonprofit religious organization.
